I am a photographer based in Portland, Oregon.  My work includes landscape, cityscape and street photography, as well as portraiture.  I discovered the wonderful world of photography a few years ago.  Since then I have developed many photographic interests, although landscape photography has a special appeal…I love getting out and discovering beautiful new places to explore.  I’ve done most of my shooting close to home in the magnificent Pacific Northwest, but I’ve also photographed other areas in the United States, including Yellowstone, Grand Teton National Park, and the very lovely high-desert environment of Sedona in the Southwest.

My photos have attracted the attention of the editors of some publications, including National Geographic, with some of my work selected for the Photo of the Day, the Daily Dozen, and Your Shot stories.  My photo titled “Autumn Brilliance” appears in the new 2017 German edition of USA National Parks, a National Geographic travel guidebook, which came out in Spring.  Also, my photo titled “Golden Dawn” graces the cover of the 2016 edition of “The Creaky Knees Guide, Oregon,” a hiking guidebook published by Sasquatch Books in Seattle.

In addition, I'm honored that my photo titled "Abandoned Wish" was selected for the 2017 PDX 30 Exhibit at the LightBox Photographic Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.  The PDX 30 Exhibit is an annual show that celebrates Portland photographers during Portland Photo Month each April. Since then my photo titled "Enchanted Forest" was again selected for exhibition at the LightBox Gallery for the November 2017 show,  Nature's Way (A Search for Beauty), where it won the Juror's First Award.
